PTFE Seals

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seals are inert to nearly all chemicals, making them ideal for aggressive media and corrosive environments where traditional elastomers would degrade. With one of the lowest coefficients of friction among sealing materials, PTFE seals minimize wear and heat generation, enhancing efficiency in dynamic applications with high speeds or dry running conditions. PTFE seals maintain their sealing integrity across a broad temperature spectrum, typically from -100°F to over 500°F, making them suitable for extreme thermal environments in aerospace, chemical, and food-grade applications.
